Job details Here's how the job details align with your profile.Job typeFull-timeLocationFull job descriptionJob SpecificationBranch Operations ManagementManaging the branch operations.Development and implementation of the branch strategic plan.Warehouse operations are managed in a manner which ensures a balanced approach to stock on hand (80/20 principle).Stock planning process is 100% aligned with the stock planning performed by the Planning team.Maintenance and housekeeping of Warehouse.Compliance with all legislative requirements and company policies.Manage your stock to ensure that damages, stock loss and stock returns are minimized daily.Stock controls are measured daily through cycle counts.Manage Company fleet in a cost-effective manner.Stock take is planned and actioned annually on the entire warehouse without disrupting sales.Customer Service Levels and Stock ManagementAchieving the required service delivery levels for the customers on branch level.Branch level strategy and plan is developed and implemented to achieve the agreed customer service levels.Support sales initiatives by ensuring stock and customer service levels are maintained.Manages the branch targets and takes the necessary action to ensure the achievement of such targets.Manages branch revenue in coordination with the Branch Sales Manager.Develop stock strategies and operational plans for branches.Ensure customer service levels are maintained on counter and outside sales efforts (if applicable).Coordinate counter maintenance, merchandising and promotional activity.Monitor outstanding COD's and overdue debtors weekly with the respective credit controller.Be critically aware of the standards and requirements set by Grandmark.Management of the Branch PersonnelEnsuring that relevant and effective KPIs are in place for the Branch team.Talent management and team development.Establishing and maintaining high team cohesion and employee collaboration within the teams.Manage and plan for the 10% variant in your daily operational format with regards to people not arriving at work. The business must continue to operate at 100% with this 10% variant built into your plan (on average 10% of ops staff are not at work daily).Management of the Branch ExpenditureBranch budget managed in line with the company policies and guidelines.Branch costs are managed within the required parameters.Non-stock procurement process is managed on the branch level in line with the company policies and procedures.Annual budget process timelines are met, and annual budget accuracy is within 10% on each individual budget line.Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and guidelines are identified on the branch level.Full Management of the Branches OHSAAchieve an overall final score of 90%+ on your OHSA audit and Risk Audit.Implementation and management of all appointments (16.2).Ensure all PPE is strictly applied.Optimize practices and ensure non-conformances are addressed immediately.Job Type: Full-timePay: From R1,00 per monthEducation:Experience:Warehouse management: 6 years (Required)
