Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team. This crucial role combines bookkeeping and administrative support to ensure accurate financial records, project compliance, and the smooth operation of our growing company. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day accounting tasks, prepare financial reports, assist with budgeting and handle administrative duties. Minimum requirements: Diploma in Bookkeeping / Accounting (preferred) and/or Diploma in Office Administration. 2-3 years of experience in administration, and bookkeeping or accounting roles. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software such as Xero and Sage. Valid drivers license. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Required skills: : Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Experience with data analysis. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities : Maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, receipts, and invoices. Reconcile accounts and ensure financial accuracy. Prepare and process quotations and invoices as needed. Assist in budgeting, analysing budget vs. actuals for projects. Generate financial reports and summaries for management review. Perform VAT reconciliation. Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments. Provide financial insights to support business decision-making. Oversee and manage administrative tasks as assigned by the Executive office.
