Beauty Therapist - Blue Route

Dis-Chem Pharmacies requires an established Beauty Therapist for their store in Blue Route Mall. You will be required to create awareness that Dis-Chem offers a variety of skincare & body treatments in the Dis-Chem Beauty Salons. You will be responsible for contributing to proper client liaison & care when performing treatments.Minimum Requirements:Essential:Grade 12 / Matric2 year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty TherapyMinimum of 12 months' technical/practical experience in a professional beauty salon environmentComputer literateSound numerical skillsWilling and able to work retail hoursAdvantageous:3 year relevant National or International Certificate or Diploma in Beauty TherapyMinimum of 3 years' technical/practical experience in a professional beauty salon environmentJob Description:Provide customers with an excellent salon experiencePerform facials, waxing, massages, manicures and pedicures in line with Dis-Chem standardsReport on, and provide feedback to, customers' queries, complaints and complimentsKeep abreast of new products and treatments/service techniquesManage stock levels according to Dis-Chem Salon's needsEnsure all relevant equipment is operational and sanitary at all timesCompetencies:Essential:Possess general knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology and contradictions for skin/body treatmentsStrong command of English (written and oral)Be a team player, have good customer relationsBe deadline and target drivenAdvantageous:Soft laser and Bio-Magnetic, microdermabrasion, slimming and spray tanAny laser or additional salon equipment trainingBilingualSpecial conditions of employment:Willing and able to work retail hoursWilling and able to travel to and from the storeFit and able to perform massage, facial and body treatmentsSouth African citizenClear credit and criminal recordsRemuneration and benefits:Market-related salaryMedical aidProvident fundStaff accountONLY SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS WILL BE CONTACTED.
