Automotive Technician (X5)

RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN (X5) for a well-established, growing concern, positions based in various suburbs in the Johannesburg area, Gauteng. REQUIREMENTS Grade 12.
Relevant qualification/s. Qualified Petrol Automotive Technician ESSENTIAL! BMW certified. Valid drivers license / own reliable vehicle.
Person must be able to speak, read and write in English.
Strong computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet).
3yrs+ previous working experience as a Petrol Technician is essential. Required to report to Workshop Foreman.
Establish parts required for service / repairs to be performed and ensure that the correct parts are ordered.
Obtain authorization relevant to any additional repairs and parts to be fitted.
Adhere strictly to technical specifications a laid down by manufacturers.
Repair vehicles according to specifications as instructed and within the flat rate time
Possess complete set of own hand tools as per M.I.F. list and maintain them in good working condition.
Be able to compile a report on all work performed including cause and correction.
Maintain cordial relationship with workshop staff.
