Qualifications and ExperienceAuto Electrician Trade Certificate.Minimum 5 years experience as an Auto Electrician surface and underground.Good IT and diagnostic skills.Proficiency with maintenance and repair tools.Competent B Certificate.First Aid Certificate.Valid driver's license.Good general health AND a certificate of fitness (Red Ticket).Characteristics or skills that is required:Sound planning (time management), and organisational abilities.Ability to plan, organize and prioritize.Good customer and interpersonal skills.Ability to function on your own and within a team.Independent, self-motivated, proactive thinking.Ability to communicate in English (written & verbal) and one other official language.Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure that a good standard of safety awareness is maintained.Ensure that section personnel comply with the requires Health and Safety and Environmental standards.Ensure good housekeeping standards and maintained.Daily, Weekly and Monthly inspections to be done.Maintenance and repairs of all TMM auto-electrical equipment in the underground, specifically with regards to the following: Drill Rigs (DD320, DD321, DD321, DD420, DD421 & DD422i), Cable Bolters (DS421, DS422i & DS412i), Roof Bolters (DS411), Maclean Bolter (946), LHD (LH410, LH517i & LH621i), Dump Trucks (TH430), TH540 & TH551i), Shotcrete, Manitou, and Agi cars, etc.Ensure fixed, mobile, and transportable TMM auto electrical equipment associated with hot work or live testing, installed or operated are suitably certified in line with operational standards.Ensure that equipment is suitable for use in the underground mine.Ensure that the maintenance and overhaul of TMM auto electrical equipment installed and/or operated or intended to be installed and/or operated is in accordance with relevant standards.Align with planned maintenance, including the maintenance of relevant records for all auto electrical equipment and installations around responsibility.Assist in ensuring that TMM auto electrical equipment and installation.Ensure that equipment is suitable for use in the underground mine.Ensure that the maintenance and overhaul of TMM auto electrical equipment installed and/or operated or intended to be installed and/or operated is in accordance with relevant standards.Align with planned maintenance, including the maintenance of relevant records for all auto electrical equipment and installations around responsibility.Must be able to work overtime when required.Salary R51 000.00 p/m
