Job Overview:
We are seeking a caring, responsible, and experienced Au Pair to join our family. The ideal candidate will provide excellent childcare while contributing to a positive family environment. This role requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about working with children and can manage various tasks associated with their care and development.
Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties:
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
Prepare meals and snacks for children, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
Assist with homework and school projects.
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, such as games, crafts, outings, and educational activities.
Accompany children to school, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
Assist with morning and bedtime routines.
Household Duties:
Perform light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as cleaning up after meals, tidying play areas.
Maintain an organized and clean environment for the children.
Communication and Coordination:
Communicate regularly with parents about the children's progress and any issues that arise.
Follow the family's routines and guidelines, respecting their preferences and rules.
Work collaboratively with the family to ensure the children's needs are met.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in childcare or as an Au Pair is preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in childcare is a plus.
Basic understanding of child development and age-appropriate activities.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (if driving is required).
Ability to provide references from previous childcare positions.
