During the General Manager's leave, you will step into their role, maintaining the high standards and seamless service the camp is known for.

As the
Assistant Camp Manager
, you will play a key role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests while supporting the team's development and operational excellence. You will oversee food and beverage management, guest services, and daily logistics while contributing to a nurturing, community-oriented work culture. Key Responsibilities:
Food and Beverage Management:
Ensure efficient kitchen operations, stock control, waste management, and adherence to hygiene standards while guiding community chefs.
Guest Services:
Collaborate with staff to create personalized and memorable guest experiences, focusing on comfort and authenticity.
Operational Support:
Train and mentor local team members, many of whom are new to the tourism industry, fostering their growth and confidence.
Management Support:
Act as the General Manager's deputy during their leave, handling bookings, guest communication, and other administrative duties.
Team Leadership:
Promote professionalism and teamwork, balancing discipline with a supportive approach.
Requirements:
Experience:
A background in food and beverage management, front-of-house operations, or kitchen/chef roles is essential.
