Assistant Accountant

Manage General Ledger entries through to trial balance, covering prepaid expenses, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany transactionsConduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistencyOversee bank and cash management, including cash-flow monitoring and monthly bank account reconciliationsHandle accounts receivable in collaboration with Account ManagersManage accounts payable, including setting up payments for authorization and processingLead the month-end close processReview payroll data provided by the payroll provider for accuracy and completenessPrepare and submit monthly VAT returns and ensure compliance Assist with audits and manage audit queries Support the delivery of strategic corporate projects as neededPerform various ad-hoc tasks as required Skills & Experience:A minimum of 2 years experience performing similar dutiesStrong working knowledge of accounting softwareMultiple currency exposure is highly beneficial Qualification:Tertiary Degree in Finance is non-negotiable Contact ALEXANDRA MALONEY on
