Assistant Accountant

Record general ledger transactions, including prepaid, accruals, fixed assets, and intercompany accountsPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliationsManage cash flow and perform bank reconciliationsGenerate and follow up on sales invoices and overdue accountsSet up and process accounts payable paymentsOversee the month-end close process and prepare group reportingReview payroll data in collaboration with payroll providersFile monthly VAT returns and ensure compliance with local regulatory requirementsAssist with audit processes and manage queries with local and group auditorsLiaise with external stakeholders such as banks, clients, and service providersSupport corporate projects and ad hoc tasks as requiredSkills & Experience: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldMinimum 12 years experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar roleProgress toward a professional finance qualification is advantageousSolid understanding of reconciliations and general accounting practicesExperience with accounting software and multi-currency transactionsQualification:Degree in AccountingProfessional Designation (or working towards one) is preferred Contact OLIVIA MELTZER on
