Asset Administrator (2 Positions)

CORE PURPOSE OF JOB Assist the Senior Assets Administrator with the control of moveable assets through barcoding of new items, disposal of redundant assets and maintenance of accurate records of all Nelson Mandela University assets.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS Barcoding of new assets and matching with orders
Surveying assets on All Campuses
Collection of redundant assets from departments
Assist with preparation of redundant asset tender
CORE COMPETENCIES Drivers Licence
Aptitude for figures and accurate recording of information, as well as the ability to perform manual tasks (lifting, pushing and pulling), as required.
As contact with people and supervising a team play a major role in the job, a pleasant personality with good communication skills is a pre-requisite for this job.
Computer literacy required.
REQUIREMENTS Matric or equivalent
2 years relevant experience in assets administration
Computer literacy
