JOB DESCRIPTION / REQUIREMENTSGrade 12.Afrikaans / English speaking.Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.Competent computer skills (MS Office, Email / Internet). Previous working experience on AutoCAD and Revit (advantageous).Valid drivers license / own reliable transport.5yr+ previous working experience in the field of architecture. Must have site experience dealing with a variety of consultants.The applicant will be required to work under supervision of the Project Architect and Designer.Create detailed technical drawings for specialized interior fit outs and architectural plans and layouts.Interpret and review rough sketches, drawing and specifications to draw up accurate drawings.Understand and comply with relevant regulations and standards, must be able and comfortable dealing with local municipalities to get plans approved.Maintain organized records of all documentation, drawings and revisions.Compliance with all SANS10400 regulations.Obtain site / stand / premises information.Interior details and architectural drawings.Finishing schedules.Specification sheets.Site inspections.Site measurements and as-built drawings.Project management and site organization with site instructions.Obtaining relevant quotes for specific projects.Meeting all potential contractors and sub-contractors.Council documentation preparation.Take minutes of meetings with contractors and suppliers.Collect samples and compile client presentations.Placing orders and checking of deliveries.Assist with budget preparations.Confirm delivery installation dates.Receive deliveries.
