Anchor/Duty Manager

Responsibilities:Report to lodge manager and assistant lodge managerEnsure ultimate guest relations in the lodge and that the "at home" personal attention levels are maintainedManagement and training of the lodge staff in line with the company standard of excellenceMaintain the highest standards of housekeeping, maintenance, and gardening to ensure that all areas are always kept clean and tidy, and style and design are not erodedEffective financial management through the administration of orders and effective stock controlEffective daily administration of the concierge and reception dutiesActive participation in and effective communication and support of the companys' conservation message and purposeSkills/Experience:A minimum of 4 years' work experience ideally 2 years as a trainee and in a well-recognized five-star hotel or a world-class lodge, as an assistant managerHigh standards of service excellence and a passion of the industryExceptional food and beverage knowledge of its preparation and terminologyAwareness of dietaries and allergiesExcellent management ability and communication skillsA clear understanding of basic labor law and disciplinary proceduresA developmental approach to staffUnderstanding of housekeeping and maintenance proceduresA hardworking, cooperative manner Attention to detailAssertiveness, patience, and good organizational skillsValid Drivers licenseNationality or valid working visa
