Analyst, Portfolio Analytics

Business Segment: Business & Commercial Banking
Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, Baker Street 30
To provide appropriate information for credit reporting, insights and analytics for business lending portfolios and/or segment pertaining to specific functions within the credit lifecycle (e.g., originations, account management, collections and portfolio management) which informs business decision making and the relevant credit strategy. To Develop appropriate monitoring for the portfolios through automation and efficient SAS coding. Identifying and notifying PMs of changes in trends, tracking strategy performance (and proposing adjustments where performance is not in line with expectations) and formulating proposals to mitigate risk or grow portfolios.Continuously monitors and tests processes and data to detect errors in order to improve reporting efficiencies. Interprets data into information following collating of large sources of disparate data. Writes SAS coding in line with reporting requirements, and as far as possible drive automated scheduling.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Type of Qualification: First Degree
Field of Study: Mathematical Sciences

Experience Required
1-2 years
Experience in analytics within a banking environment with specific focus on the credit lifecycle .
Experience in coding with SAS is essential.
