The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our crop farming activities, ensuring the highest quality of crops and efficient use of resources.Key Responsibilities:Manage and oversee the planting and harvesting of crops, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.Supervise and coordinate the work of farmhands and other support staff, providing guidance and training as needed.Conduct regular inspections of crops and equipment to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.Develop and implement strategies to optimize crop yields and reduce waste.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of crop farming activities with other farm operations.Requirements:Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous.Previous crop farming experience essential.Proven experience working with large combine harvesters and planting equipment essential.Previous experience operating John Deere sprayers and harvesters advantageous.Previous drone crop spraying experience advantageous.Computer literate.Ability to take ownership, come up with new ideas, and work independently and proactively.Being mechanically/maintenance orientated.Valid driver's license.What We Offer:Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career growth and professional development.Collaborative and dynamic work environment.If you are a motivated and experienced crop farming professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your application.
