Job Title: Admin & Financial Clerk Location: Johannesburg Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Competitive 6 November 2024 Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative and financial Clerk to join our team.
The ideal candidate will manage various administrative and financial tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our office.
This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of financial processes, and the ability to multitask effectively. Key Responsibilities: • Capturing Creditors Invoices: Accurately record and process creditors' invoices in the financial system. • Opening New 30 Days Accounts: Set up and capture new 30-day accounts, ensuring all necessary information is recorded. • Maintaining Business Partners: Update and maintain records of business partners, including any changes in their information. • Sending Out Customer Statements: Prepare and distribute customer statements regularly. • Following Up on Outstanding Payments: Monitor and follow up on overdue payments to ensure timely collection. • Creating Purchase Orders (PO) on SAP S/4HANA: Generate and manage purchase orders using SAP software. • Managing Office Supplies: Monitor inventory levels of office supplies and reorder as necessary to ensure adequate stock. • Facilitating Incoming Shipments: Oversee and coordinate the receipt of incoming shipments from headquarters, ensuring all items are accounted for and properly stored. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in finance or business administration are advantageous. • Proven experience in an administrative or financial role. • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and other financial software. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
