We're not just about serving people - we're about creating a marketplace to bring people what they need while infusing social values.About the roleWe are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes. The successful candidate will provide us with accurate quantitative information on the financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we're compliant with all tax regulations.What You'll DoManage all accounting transactionsPrepare budget forecastsHandle monthly, quarterly and annual closingsReconcile accounts payable and receivableEnsure timely bank paymentsCompute taxes and prepare tax returnsManage balance sheets and profit/loss statementsReport on the company's financial health and liquidityAudit financial transactions and documentsReinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessaryComply with financial policies and regulationsWhat You'll NeedWork experience as an AccountantExcellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including IFRSHands-on experience with accounting software like (eg: QuickBooks)Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tablesExperience with general ledger functionsStrong attention to detail and good analytical skillsAccounting, Finance or other relevant degreeEnthusiastic about Yassir!PerksGround floor opportunity with the team; shape the strategic direction of the companyThe rare opportunity to change the world around you such that everyone around you is using the product you built.
