Accountant

Job Description:As the Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:Manage and maintain fixed asset registersPrepare and review financial reports in line with industry standardsAssist with month-end and year-end financial processesPerform reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting policiesWork with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and financial analysisEnsure accurate processing of financial transactions using SAPPrepare and analyze financial statements and reports for various departmentsManage accounts payable and accounts receivablePerform regular bank account reconciliationsPrepare Balance sheet reconciliationsPrepare and submit VAT returnsIdentify areas of improvement and efficiencyAnalyze costs and financial performanceEnsure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirementsAdditional ad-hoc duties as required by management Skills & Experience: Proficiency in SAP and other accounting softwareStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesMinimum of 2 years commercial experience performing the full finance functionQualification:Relevant Financial or Accounting diploma or degreeCompleted SAICA/SAIPA articles would be advantageousGrade 12 (Matric) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
