Talented Accountant / CA required in Harrismith.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY:
You will be responsible for both general and financial accounting, ensuring accurate financial reporting, tracking expenses, and providing insights to aid in business decision-making.
Additionally, you will ensure compliance with financial regulations while preparing and examining various financial documents.
Your duties will include reconciling accounts, identifying discrepancies, and supporting financial audits, along with performing general accounts receivable, accounts payable, and other administrative tasks.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage ledger accounts and reconciliations
Record financial transactions accurately
Prepare financial statements and generate reports
Budgeting and forecasting
Analyze financial data and provide tax documentation
Perform accounts payable and receivable tasks
Ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations
Assist during financial audits

EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Grade 12 or equivalent (essential)
Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification (essential)
Completed Articles (essential)
Currently studying towards CA
Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
2-4 years of experience in a similar position
Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Experience in financial reporting and analysis
Advantageous: Experience in debtors and creditors functions, as well as in the Agriculture and Food Manufacturing Industry
